Come on!
We encourage you to apply for our One Year Fashion Communication Course GRANT.
Next Monday it will be the last chance!

We have developed our first contest with one of the collaborating brands : LOMOGRAPHY SPAIN and we think the results are going to be fascinating!
Each student borrowed one “Sardina” to shoot a whole film roll to show the most cool objects, scenes, atmospheres… of Madrid but just within 24hours!
Hello, I’m the Sardina

The student with the best roll of exposed film will get as prize a Diana Mini or a Fish Eye 2.
We will let you know soon!
This is the fantastic packaging they’ve given to each participating students:

We are very proud of Madrid city and specially now that new businnes ideas are filling its streets. Brilliant people starting a different way of facing the crisis; with a huge smile or with something else to give.
Doesn’t matter if what you’re looking for is not material, because they offer cosy atmospheres where you can share time with others.
Here you can see what we are talking about, in one of the most influential lifestyle diaries of the world.

We have to say that this marvellous tumblr is still under construction. As you can see, there are some empty sections (2010, 2011).
We’ll be working on them soon...
Promise!

During this week, the new sustainable fashion brand Muzungu Sisters founded by Dana Alikhani and Tatiana Santo Domingo few years ago has been in Madrid: a fresh pop up store in the beautiful garden space of Federica&Co (http://www.federicastories.com/)
Our ex-student Elena Rohrmoser works with them as office manager at their communication department; she’s been interviewed for the IED and you can read it here:
Hope they continue finding treasures all over the world!
Today, one of our teachers, has been interviewed by Inma Flor, the Responsible of IED Madrid Editorial and Communication Online Departament.
As he is one of the heads at MFShow, he has basically answered to some questions related to that project and to photography in general, always linking those issues to our Fashion Communication course, where he teaches Photography & Photoshop subjects.

Here is the whole interview:
